650 East 13th Avenue
This little bungalow, shown soon after its completion was built on the Southwest corner of 13th and Hilyard circa 1910. The site has been occupied for the last 20 years buy a parking structure and a series of restaurants.
I really miss all the old businesses across the street that Sacred Heart demolished. Poppi's, Sahalie's, Lenny's Nosh Bar, Son of Koobdooga bookstore, etc etc.
I've been trying to recall that too. Finally found it in Google's R-G archives: http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=5uhVAAAAIBAJ&sjid=keEDAAAAIBAJ&pg=5026,5444100&dq=peking+mandarin+hilyard&hl=en
