Mystery House

The back of this circa 1910 postcard identifies the location as being "Eugene Oregon". Something about the hill in the background makes me think this house might have stood on South Willamette at about 24th and that is College hill behind it? The house is certainly substantial, but certainly not standing any longer if it was in Eugene. Any idea's readers?

when the entrance is cropped to the figures and enhanced the dress and hairstyles look eastern european as do the structures in the background - there is a similar style of homes in St Joseph Missouri [Museum Hill Historic District Saint Joseph, Missouri] or http://www.oldhouses.com/cf/archivelist.cfm?q_listingstate=MO&searchname=Located+in+Missouri&startrow=101&maxrows=25 - My guess it's pre WW1 Austria
